MARLBOROUGH — Plans for a second Chipotle restaurant in the city have been referred to the City Council's Urban Affairs Committee, with a public hearing scheduled for early next month.Developers are seeking to construct the Mexican-style chain restaurant as part of a standalone building in the Target parking lot at 661 Boston Post Road East (Route 20). Chipotle would share the plaza with a recently opened Starbucks. The proposal comes a year after the City Council approved permitting for the building, with space originally for the Starbucks, a bank and an additional retail location.
