MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) _ Hologic Inc. (HOLX) on Monday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $118.7 million. The Marlborough, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 47 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 82 cents per share. The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 62 cents per share. The medical device maker posted revenue of $953.3 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts.
