HINGHAM — When the Notre Dame Academy and Marlborough High girls basketball teams tipped off in a Division 2 preliminary round gam e on Tuesday, there were no seniors in the starting lineup. But for the two teams with bright futures ahead, only one could advance in the state tournament. Sophomore Ava Orlando scored 33 points to lead her No. 27 Cougars (15-6) to a 63-43 win over freshman Isabella Miele's No. 38 Panthers (9-10). Mielle scored 21 points in the loss. 'We just had a lot of jitters,' said NDA coach Nickie Orlando, Ava's mom.
