Marlborough High School senior Jackson Clemons got the top score in tub at the 2023 All State Music Festival. (Neal McNamara/Patch)MARLBOROUGH, MA — The top tuba player in Massachusetts is from Marlborough. Marlborough High School senior Jackson Clemons earned the top score in the Massachusetts Music Educators Association auditions for the 2023 all-state concert. Clemons will perform alongside about 500 other students from across the state in a concert at Symphony Hall in Boston in March. This isn't Clemons' first brush with statewide recognition.
