MARLBOROUGH – A Medal of Liberty Ceremony was held recently in Marlborough, to honor service men and women who were killed in action, died of wounds, or died in a combat zone.It was hosted on June 14 at the Whitcomb Middle School by the Marlborough Historical Society with the help of Mayor Arthur Vigeant's office and Veterans Services Officer Michael Hennessy.Over 200 family members of the 38 men were in attendance.The National Anthem was sung by Julie Kujawski and awards were given to men from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Army Air Forces including two sets of brothers.
